Advantages of the ceramic heated wedge: 

- Any thermoplastic can be welded without needing
to change the wedge
- The wedge is self-cleaning
- The temperature distribution on the wedge surface
is identical to the set temperature at all points
- Through the special ceramic specification, the
thermal penetration in the welded material is significantly
more intensive than with a metal wedge.
- This, in turn, produces a higher welding speed and
significantly higher welding quality than with conventional
metal wedges.
- In the same way, due to its structure, the ceramic
wedge has absolutely no wear and tear.
